Q 01. What is the minimum quantity of order?
A. At ASCO, there is no such criteria as we don't consider any order to be small or big. However, considering the structure of freight charges, overall cost of a small consignment is much more as compared to the usual size of consignment.

Q 02. What are the terms of payment?
A. We have very simple terms of payment, which are listed below:

PRE-PAYMENT: Ideal mode of payment for small orders, it is not only convenient but also minimises the bank charges. We accept payment through bank drafts/cheques drawn in the name of Apothecaries' Sundries Mfg. Co. However, transfer to our Bank account is convenient and fast.

ADVANCE PAYMENT IN PART: For larger quantities, orders may be placed with an advance payment of 25%, whereas the balance will be paid through a designated bank against the delivery of documents. The bank charges are to be paid by customers.

LETTER OF CREDIT: Irrevocable Letter of Credit is an ideal way of payment - wherein the customer is required to pay all bank charges, excluding our bank charges.

Q 03. What are the details of the bank?

Q 04. What are the freight charges?
A. In general, the modes of shipment are - Seafreight and Airfreight. However, we do send Post parcels, Couriers etc. on the specific instructions of our customers.

The customer may ask for prices inclusive of freight charges or opt for receiving a consignment on 'Freight to Pay' basis.

The shipping charges depend on various factors like weight/volume of the shipment, destination and mode of dispatch.

CIF (Cost Insurance and Freight) rates are quoted if the exact quantity, destination and mode of dispatch are intimated.

Q 09. What are the quality certifications that ASCO has?
A. Right from the beginning, quality is paramount for ASCO - and for the total quality management system, it got the ISO 9002 certification in the year 1998. Over the years, the quality certification has been upgraded to ISO 9001:2000.

Besides the total quality management system, the major category of our products like Stethoscopes, Laryngoscopes, Orthopedic Plates and Screws, ICU Bed, Kidney Basin, are already FDA (USA) listed.

Further, we are in the advance stage of acquiring CE marking for the majority of our products.
